I am an experienced game artist working in 3D modelling, texturing, rigging, and animation. My current project is a virtual reality game called
'Spirit Lens'.
I write a lot and sometimes, it will arrange itself into poetry.

[3D] N64 Butterfly (April 9, 2025)
today i've been revising the basic butterfly from Spirit Lens aka 'Janufly'
i started off by making a 32x64 texture in asesprite using the mirror mode and fill tool to get the basic shape before adding more detail.
i then created a set of variations of color for the different
rarities of janufly in the game.
(note: the 'shiny' body texture is achieved using a simple gradient. very effective!)
as usual, the geometry itself is very simple:
so yeah, just a quick update on the new 'braver'
and more 'brutalist' visual style.
